Public presentation of the concept on reforming the General Directorate of Public Transport and Communications

On June 14, 2022, within the premises of the Chișinău City Hall, the draft regulation on the organization and functioning of the General Directorate of Public Transport and Communication, along with its organizational structure, was publicly presented.

The event was attended by the General Mayor, Ion Ceban; the Deputy Mayor of the capital, Ilie Ceban; Vitalie Mihalache, head of the relevant General Directorate, and other experts in the field.

The documents were developed by the company S.R.L. BPMS STANDARD, following institutional audit and pre-reorganization analysis of the entity in question. 

It is worth noting that this activity is part of the "MOVE IT LIKE Lublin" project, implemented by the Municipality of Chișinău in partnership with the Lublin Municipality (Poland), with financial support from the European Union.

The project aims to improve the public transportation system in Chișinău and is scheduled to take place between 2021 and 2024. 

In this context, municipal representatives expressed gratitude for the work done and the detailed presentation, emphasizing that any structure, at a certain stage, requires restructuring, and the General Directorate of Public Transport and Communication is a fundamental institution within the Chișinău Local Public Administration that requires reorganization.
