The managers of the municipal transport institutions in Chisinau were last week on a study visit to the cities of Prague and Brno (Czech Republic), to familiarize themselves with the best practices in the field of urban public transport development.
The study visit was organized with the support of the European Union, within the "MOVE IT like Lublin" project - an initiative for the sustainable development of public transport in the city of Chisinau.
During their stay in Prague, the representatives from Chisinau visited several relevant institutions: the Municipal Department of Transport, the Traffic Management Center, the Public Transport Company.
Likewise, they traveled to Brno in the south of the Czech Republic, where the main objectives visited were the Transport Authority, the Herman Company and the Traffic Management Organization (Brněnské komunikace).
